Berkelouw Books Presents - A Practical Guide to Happiness - A workshop
29th May '14 @ Berkelouw Mona Vale

In this fast-paced, stressed-out and status-driven world, happiness sometimes seems beyond our grasp. Yet when life is lived with passion and purpose, accepting the good with the bad, happiness is the joyful by-product.
HR mediator and international yoga teacher Mel Armstrong-Jones, and psychotherapist and writer, Marie Rowland, are presenting an exciting new workshop on how to find happiness by living your truth, through self-awareness and keeping anxiety at bay.
Happiness means different things for each one of us, however there are some underlying principles to finding joy in life. This practical workshop identifies the five pillars of happiness - Purpose, Priorities, Passion, People and Perspective.
Through the five Ps, the presenters demonstrate that everyone has the power to live a life that it both authentic and meaningful. Drawing on western and eastern philosophy, as well as using principles of psychology, the workshop will provide practical strategies to manage conflict, negotiate positive outcomes, find self-confidence, practise gratitude and live in the now.
Knowing what matters to you and self-acceptance are the bases for a life that is led on your own terms. This interactive and accessible workshop will help you to create a life that is not only fulfilling but full of fun.
Happiness is more than a feeling - it is a way of life.
The workshop will take place at Berkelouw Books in Mona Vale.
It is 90 minutes in duration and will commence at 6.30 pm on Thursday, May 29th, 2014
