London: Longman Rees Orme Brown Green and Longman 1833. 8vo. Orig. half straight-grain morocco (rubbed) with red wove cloth. Gilt. Spine gilt and with raised bands. A.e.g. Previous owners' names on title-page of each volume. Some minor foxing to prelims otherwise fine. Adorned under the fore-edge gilt of each volume is a particularly fine painting: depicted on Vol. 1 is Noah's Ark showing Noah his family and many pairs of animals making their way on board the vessel; on Vol. 2 is The Deluge in which humans and animals are trying to escape raging torrents of water.
