Volume 9 is 1st edition. Some toning and foxing otherwise a very good set. Housed in shelf-soiled and aged original dispatch boxes with some crude tape repairs. As such extremely rare. NOTE: The complete official history of Australia's role in W.W.I including The Story of Anzac The A.I.F. in France The Photographic Record of the War with magnificent pictures taken by the official photographers (Frank Hurley et al.) etc. It was Charles Edwin Woodrow Bean (1879-1968) Australia's official war historian who more than any other was responsible for shaping the Anzac Legend.
