With 2 frontispieces, 14 portrs. each with a protective tissue-guard, 4 full-page maps of which 2 are col., and 11 folding coloured maps. Occasional pencil markings in text, otherwise a very good complete copy. Scarce. NOTE: Important for the early history of the South Seas, Africa, Madagascar, West Indies, and China.
