[Purported to be 'Pan in the Parlour' ink drawing & handwritten extract]

This is a rare or used book from the Berkelouw Rare Books Department.

Pale yellow paper. 12.5 cm x 19 cm. Norman Linsday original ink drawing of "Pan" reading a book to a koala. With handwritten note "Dear Stella I'm glad you found this book. A good book always comes back. Norman Lindsay." Purportedly "Stella' may be his friend Stella Maria Sarah Miles Franklin. Accompanied with handwritten draft extract from 'Pan in the Parlour' manuscript. This extract is not in the published 1933 edition although a typed note on the extract infers the passage is on page 35 of the book.
