With frontispiece 32 full-page b/w plates 12 maps and endpaper maps. 1st edition. Assoc. newspaper clippings loosely inserted. Very scarce with dustjacket albeit defective. NOTE: The Regiment was part of the 7th Australian Division that fought in Syria in 1941 where Lt. Arthur Roden Cutler won the Victoria Cross. Afterwards the Regiment served in the New Guinea and Borneo campaigns. Includes Honours and Awards and Roll of Honour.
