NOTE: Alexander Augustus Norman Dudley Pentland served with the 12th Australian Light Horse at Gallipoli in 1915 and then with the Royal Flying Corps on the Western Front. After the war he worked as a pilot in New Guinea where he also served with the R.A.A.F. during the Second World War.
