NOTE: Originally a Militia unit the 37th/52nd came about through the linking of the 37th Battalion (The East Gippsland Regiment) and the 52nd Battalion (The Gippsland Regiment) in September 1942. The Battalion fought in New Guinea and New Britain 1943-1945. Includes Honour Roll Honours and Awards and Nominal Roll.
