Meet Olympic champion Leisel Jones when she introduces her memoir Body Lengths at Berkelouw Books in Leichhardt.

Leisel Jones is regarded as one of the greatest breaststrokers ever. At just fifteen, she won two silver medals at the Sydney Olympic Games; she went on to win gold at Athens and Beijing, and at London 2012 became the first Australian swimmer to compete at four Olympics.

In Body Lengths, Leisel reveals what it's like to be thrust into the limelight so young, coping with the constant pressure to be perfect - from coaches, from the media and from herself. Despite the highs of swimming stardom she suffered depression. In London, criticised by the media for her weight, and appalled by the bullying and dysfunction in the Australian swim team, she handled herself with great composure.
